Sustainable agriculture

Food Exeter is working to support initiatives which:

  • help farmers and producers switch to more environmentally positive methods
  • support people starting up businesses and careers in sustainable growing, farming and food-processing
  • help local people access food that has been produced with no or fewer pesticides, herbicides and additives, at affordable prices
  • will grow our local food economy ie more local food bought by more local people. Food Exeter is carrying out a feasibility study on this
